Kid Colt; Fat Man (Villain, Introduction); the Governor; Steel (Kid Colt's horse)
The Governor offers a full pardon to Kid Colt if he can capture the Fat Man, an Australian menace whose reign of terror is enforced with muscle and a boomerang. The Kid defeats the Fat Man but passes on the pardon by letting a wounded deputy take the credit, and the reward money, so that the deputy's family is taken care of.
