Synopsis: Cedric, a sculptor, wants to marry the lovely Christine, but she keeps putting him off. As one final attempt to win her over, he tells her he's going to carve a life-size statue of her, and coat it with silver. Later, though, he spies her with her lover Gary, who urges Christine to coax a big cash gift from Cedric so they can run off together. But later, a concerned Gary visits Cedric. Christine seems to have disappeared. Gary finally asks to purchase the completed silver statue as a remembrance of her. But, then a hand falls off the statue, and Gary realizes why the carving is so lifelike...

Synopsis: Mr. Byrd is a weird old bird. He keeps to himself and only comes to town to buy supplies. To add to the weirdness, he also drives an old hearse-wagon, with the back curtains always covering the wagon behind him. One day, two fugitives chance upon Byrd's secluded home and break in. Worse comes to worst, and they end up shooting Byrd. But, as they make further plans, the killers are amazed to see Byrd confront them once again. It turns out that there are two Byrd's; conjoined twins connected back-to-back! The surviving Byrd ties the crooks together (back-to-back) and buries them alive.

Synopsis: Once upon a time, there was a nice little medieval town with one small problem. Rats. Lots and lots of rats. The rats ate the people's food and, occasionally, the people. The people wanted to kill the rats, but the King wouldn't let them. His Queen loved mice and rats were related to mice. So, the people forced rats down the royal throats and watched them eat their way out. And everybody lived happily ever after. Well, except for the King and Queen. The end.

Synopsis: Lila is not happy with her husband, Andrew. All he does is sit and read poetry, ignoring her. Then, handsome Howard enters her life and they strike up a romance. Then, Andrew catches them in the act and Howard murders him, with the death being ruled accidental. Now officially a couple, Howard buys Lila a monkey for a pet, at her request. As time rolls on, Howard starts finding clues that Lila is cheating on him, but she vehemently denies it. In a rage, Howard kills Lila and is arrested for murder. The final panel shows a monkey, wearing glasses, reading a book of poetry.

Synopsis: Milton wants to be a big man, and he doesn't mind ruining others to get his way. He marries Lorna and insinuates himself into her father's company. Through blackmail, he gains control of the company, causing the old man's suicide. And still, Lorna is too spineless to report him, even though he boasts of what he did right to her face. One night, Milton awakes tied up in bed with see Lorna standing over him. She says she's going to help him be a big man. She begins turning a crank and Milton realizes he's in a stretch rack. He ends up a lot taller. Kinda skinny, though.

Synopsis: Amboy is a reckless young man; he drives his carriage without a thought for the peasants he runs over. Amboy's father has had enough, and decides to send his son out on his own with nothing but a castle and a yearly allowance in gold. Gee, poor guy. Amboy insists that the allowance be his weight in gold. His father agrees and Amboy goes on an eating spree to get as heavy as possible. He finally resorts to swallowing lead shot, which weighs him down very well. But, when his speeding carriage has to stop suddenly, the lead in his belly keeps going.

Synopsis: Hank and Pete make an amazing discovery at a strange carnival. They see Mr. Cooger board a Ferris wheel and, after a short ride, a small boy has taken his place. The wheel has made Cooger younger! The boy goes to a local orphanage where he's been staying and the boys realize he must be there to find out where the woman who runs the place keeps her money. Nobody believes them, of course, but when the Cooger-boy gets back on the wheel to return to his real age, the boys make him stay on longer than he planned. When the ride ends, there's nothing left but a skeleton clutching a bag of money.
