In New York, Shang-Chi is tracked down by his childhood friend M'nai, now known as Midnight, an assassin in the service of Fu Manchu. Meanwhile, Sir Denis and Black Jack Tarr make an unsuccessful attempt at apprehending Fu Manchu.
