Mike Travers catches up to Deathlok who finds out that Mike had married his wife six months ago. Deathlok spares his life because he had saved his and then comes across a mobster that he hopes will lead him to the surgeon that made him into a cyborg, but the mobster manages to get into a helicopter before Deathlok can stop him.

A man finds a crashed spaceship and reads the log which shows that the alien was to take the form of an earthling when he lands. The man goes to the Space Agency to warn them but the person he talks to (Professor Crater) pulls a gun on him. The man assumes that Professor Crater must be the alien but then finds out that the log is written in another language so he must be the alien and he has helped himself to be caught.

Stan Lee reports that there will be a sequel to The Origins of Marvel Comics book and that it will feature the origins of Iron Man, Daredevil, the X-Men, Avengers, Captain America, Sub-Mariner, Human Torch, Sgt. Fury and a surprise. He also thinks he set a record for speaking at five colleges over five days. The colleges were Michigan State University, Augustana, Ferris State, University of Wisconsin and Montreal's George Williams Collge. Items about the announcement that Roy Thomas and John Buscema will be adapting The Wizard of Oz, John Buscema is also now the head of his own art school, Archie Goodwin will replace Don McGregor as editor of Planet of the Apes, Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, Vampire Tales and others (while continuing his scripting duties on the syndicated Secret Agent Corrigan newspaper strip), Don McGregor will continue to write the Black Panther in Jungle Action, Killraven in Amazing Adventures and Luke Cage, Power Man, the nominations for the 1974 Shazam awards, and thanks for the reception given to Paul Gulacy and Guest of Honor Len Wein by Ben Pondexter and the Pittsburg Comix Club. Appears between pages 7 and 8 of the Tales of the Watcher story sequence.
