Deathlok manages to shoot down the helicopter and trails the mobster who knows which doctor turned him into a cyborg but is unable to get to him before he is killed. Deathlok vows to follow the money trail to the doctor if possible. Mike Travers thinks he has rescued Nina Ferry but she is still plugged into the Omni-Computer and their progress is being tracked by Major Ryker.

Stan Lee wishes Marv Wolfman lotsa luck as he takes over the editor reigns from Len Wein (who will do more script-writing), announces that 7-Eleven will feature 60 great Marvel superheroes and villains on their slurpee cups (including Stan the Man as a superhero), says hi to Terry Gilliam, the other members of Monty Python's Flying Circus, Angela Bowie and David Bowie and plugs the latest issue of Celebrity starring Terry, Angela, David and others. Items about how the Marvel Bullpen lost their softball battles with Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine but beat John R. Wiley & Sons by a score of 18 to 7, a new treasury-sized publication called Marvel Special Edition has been added on a bi-monthly schedule so there is now a treasury-sized publication every month (first month starring Spider-Man), Giant-Size titles for this summer reprinting classic adventures are Avengers, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Conan, Daredevil, Dr. Strange, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Iron Man, Master of Kung Fu, Power Man, Thor and the X-Men, a Queen-Size edition of Millie the Model is also coming out, all of these are 68 pages for 50 cents, welcome back to Jack Kirby, welcome back to Irv Watanabe (who used to letter Fantastic Four), Don McGregor was on WHBI-FM's "The Big Sim Power Hour Show" to talk about his upcoming weekly radio series "Night Figure", Jim Mooney and wife Anne had a baby girl named Nolle, Steve Gerber has been hiding out since he finished the special "paranoia" issue of Crazy Magazine, Len Wein is getting back into scripting on Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Spider-Man, Herb Trimpe is switching from Hulk to Iron Man, a quick welcome to Duffy Vohland and Michele Brand who edit our seven British weeklies, say hello to Bonnie Smith who is the taking over from Michele Wolfman the job of reading and sorting (and responding) to the mail, Michele Wolfman is now pursuing a career as colorist, Tony Isabella broke his leg while playing softball against John Wiley & Sons and also got engaged to Barb Kepke and Irene Vartanoff, Scott Edelman and Roger Slifer didn't do anything but threaten to attack us if they weren't mentioned. Appears between pages 16 and 17 of the story sequence.
