Deathlok manages to create a systems mind-lock which sends his mind into Simon Ryker's body and Simon Ryker's mind into his body. This causes Simon to go mad ending his threat. That job is over but Deathlok agrees to help the CIA with the threat from Hellinger. Teresa Devereaux then helps to put Simon Ryker's mind back into his clone's body but something goes wrong and his mind ends up in both the clone's body and Deathlok's.

Stan Lee says that it is name-dropping time and he mentions the many people he saw at the San Diego Comics Convention. They were Richard Butner & Shel Dorf (the hosts), Jerry Siegel, Don Rico, Ray Bradbury, Ted Sturgeon, George Pal, Will Eisner, Sergio Aragones, Mell Lazarus, Jim Steranko, Marv Wolfman, Russ Heath, Jim Starlin, Ernie Chua, Jack Kirby, Roz Kirby, Chuck Norris, Captain Sticky and Gabe Wisdom. Captain Sticky will show up in Marvel's stories soon and they will try to have both Captain Sticky and Gabe Wisdom at the Marvel Con. Items about the new 52 page annuals coming out this year (Fantastic Four by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, Iron Man by Steve Gerber and Sal Buscema, Doctor Strange, the Avengers, Hulk, Daredevil, Thor, Captain America, Marvel Team-Up, Marvel Two-In-One, Conan the Barbarian, Master of Kung Fu, the Defenders, Luke Cage and Spider-Man), the second series of Marvel Value Stamps are hyped and it is revealed that #100 will only come out in one comic (non-reprint, original size comic), this month is the crossover between Tomb of Dracula and Doctor Strange with Marv Wolfman scripting Tomb of Dracula, Steve Englehart scripting Doctor Strange and art by Gene Colan and Tom Palmer on both books, a note to all readers of Amazing Adventures that the name of its series has changed from Killraven, Warrior of the Worlds back to the original War of The Worlds title (Don McGregor, Craig Russell, Keith Giffen and Jack Abel work on this masterpiece), Stan Lee was on the Mike Douglas show dressed as Captain America, Stan Lee was also on Good Morning, America with David Hartman and on the Tomorrow show with some of his Distinguished Competition, Roy Thomas was on To Tell the Truth playing a dehydrated food salesman, Sal Buscema was on station WAMU in the Washington DC area and has begun building his brand-new house on the rolling Virginia hillside, the younger Buscema sibling was in a seminar at a local Virginia library and Doug Moench just moved into his own mini-mansion in Pennsylvania. Includes a small picture of Killraven and appears between pages 15 and 16 of the story sequence.
