Bishop and his companions arrive in the walled city of Dunduine where they are welcomed warmly. The city has a secret, however, as they are plagued by winged monsters called the Kith to whom they provide some of their citizens as tribute. This all become clear after Nom is taken and Bishop and his companions offer to make themselves a sacrifice to the Kith in order to rescue their companion.
