Transformers
Autobots [Ultra Magnus (temporary leader); Brawn; Bumblebee (damaged; leader); Bluestreak (Silverstreak); Hot Rod (Hot Rodimus; flashback from issue # 13); Optimus Prime (cameo; tv image)]; Decepticons [Megatron (leader; restored in new form); Soundwave; Starscream; Shockwave; Thundercracker; Onslaught (cameo; tv image)]; Dr. Schwalbe; tv interviewer
Megatron has already put plans into motion on Earth to retake the planet using his old form (in gun mode, as separate versions of him), which he has discarded, and sent to Earth for humans to uncover via a container that crashlanded. He then used his pieces to subconsciously affect the human psyche and attack the Autobots, thereby inflaming more anti-robot hysteria, and causing Bumblebee's injuries. Meanwhile, the remaining Autobots under Ultra Magnus's command regroup at Omega Supreme, with Brawn given a different mission by Magnus. Thundercracker is confronted by Starscream at his hideout.
