Synopsis: The police find Jean DeWolff has been gunned down in her apartment. Spidey apprehends a gang of thugs that have mugged one of Aunt May's boarders. He learns of the death of DeWolff and joins up with the head of the investigation, Sgt. Stan Carter. Matt Murdock gets Mr. Popchik's muggers out on bail and senses that Peter Parker is Spider-Man when Pete berates him in the courtroom. Back in chambers, Matt is unable to save the judge from being shot and killed by the mysterious Sin-Eater.
