The 10-issue 1952-55 first series (4C396, 2-9, 4C648) is based on the 1950-1952 radio show "Tales of the Texas Rangers" starring Joel McCrea who is featured on the covers.
The 12-issue 1956-58 television version stars Willard Parker who is featured on issues 11-20, plus 4C961 and 4C1021.
